To sustain the increasing need for provisions and services in Guyana and within the region, a reliable and competent vessel service is indispensable in order to pacify the entry of materials and streamline the business venture of our local and international partners.
Our Marine and Offshore Services Division is teaming with unparalleled industry experience and technical capabilities, competent import and general cargo providers, quality ship and rig traders, experienced project management skills, highly qualified and trained QHSEE personnel as well as expert organizational leadership and quality management among others.
In line with the comprehensive services Excel offers, the four major vessel services are further explained:
Chandlery Services
With Excel’s team of highly-skilled experts, we cater to the specific and personalized needs and expectations of our clients which are at par with the highest standards offered globally. Due to the unique nature of every client’s business, there is also an air of exclusivity between us which can be very beneficial to allow better communication and coordination resulting in lower cost of vessel services and highest return in investments. The Excel team has the expertise, technical knowledge and skill sets that match the demands of our client’s vessel service requirements.
As Guyana is opening up to more international and foreign trade investors, there is a need to know the specific custom laws as well as the guidelines and policies for any goods that enter or leave its territories. Excel is experienced in helping their clients and partners achieve this feat with its extensive leadership experience and solid reputation in the local and international trade. It will greatly decrease the risk of delays in moving the goods and materials from the point of origin to its destination.
Manpower Services
Excel holds a Local Content Registration Certification which ensures that it is working extensively for the benefit of the Guyanese people in giving them adequate training and developing their skills to be qualified for the services needed by our clients in the oil and gas industry. This is to ensure that Guyanese nationals get top priority for employment and Guyanese companies have a competitive opportunity to provide goods and services.
Dive Operations
The Excel team has also the resources and pool of highly-trained and qualified mechanical engineers, shuttering carpenters, welders and builders who can conduct thorough dive operations which includes construction and repair of vessels and to scour repairs and protection schemes underwater, core drilling, ship hull surveys, clearing clogged propellers and general vessel surveys.
